Lolita Blog Carnival: 2015 Lolita Trend Forecast

This week's Lolita Blog Carnival looked like a fun one, so despite quite a long time of not joining in, I just had to do this one! The topic is: 2015 Lolita Trend Forecast.

In the past year or so, a lot of really interesting new trends have been popping up in Lolita and the very idea of what the "traditional" Lolita looks like has vastly changed! I think 2015 is going to be an exciting year for Lolita trends, so for the topic of this Lolita Blog Carnival I've chosen 5 trend predictions for 2015 that I think are very likely.

I definitely think that in 2015 we're going to continue stepping away from the "traditional" Lolita shape of a very fitting bodice that flares out to a cupcake at the natural waist and stops short above the knees. I definitely think we're going to see the continuation of the trend of longer hemlines, increasingly deflated skirts, and higher waists. One of the reasons why I think this trend is going to continue to grow is because of just how versatile this look is! An a-line dress can have either a mature and sophisticated look with a longer hemline, or a youthful and retro feel with a shorter hemline. Lolita designers are no longer confined to "coloring within the lines" of the traditional silhouette to evoke a mood or aesthetic, but have much more room to fiddle with the overall look.

In 2015, I think that there will be many more accepted styles of headwear, just like with the silhouette, the "traditional" will be set aside for the more adventurous. For years it seemed like the only headwear of choice was either an Alice bow by default, a rose corsage if you were going for a very grownup look, or an old school headdress for a select few who were stuck in the past. While there have always been a few crazy few out there who would do something so ridiculous as stick a cake on their heads, this was always the exception and usually reserved for the daring.  In the past couple years people have obviously gotten rather bored with this and have been experimenting with what they stick on their heads! No longer do people go for the default Alice bow and save the birdcage for fancy meetups, but even the most casual Lolita get together calls for creative head gear. From halos, to veils, to rose crowns, to books, to picture frames, to giant bonnets covered in flowers, there seems to be no limit to what a Lolita can stick on her head. I definitely think that this is a trend that will continue into 2015 and will be picked up more by mainstream brands, rather than just the DIY spirited Lolitas.

The cross motif was at one time probably one of the fashion's oldest and most iconic prints, hitting big when Gothic Lolita was at the forefront of the fashion in the early 2000s. Recently this religious twist has come back, with a vengeance! I think that 2015 will see much more of this religious iconography trend in everything from more nun dresses, prints of classic religious paintings, to accessories that evoke a holy feel. No longer will the fashionable Lolita strive to look like a cupcake or a fairy princess, but rather she will want to look like she stepped right out of a church fresco.

Does anyone else remember how over the top wacky it was when Angelic Pretty would release a dress with a pompom trim? "That's just... too much!" people would exclaim. Well, those days are long behind us and more and more dresses are being trimmed with just about anything other than lace. I think that 2015 will see more brand releases with much more variety of trims, including many different kinds of trims on the same piece, for a more lush and opulent look. I think that in 2015 we can expect to see beading, tassels, fringe, charms, and pretty much anything more adventurous than a grosgrain ribbon adorning the newest looks from brands.

I have noticed a big Boystyle or Prince comeback within the fashion! For years Boystyle was just sort of there as an option that most people only chose to dabble in with off-the rack clothes, and honestly the style was stagnant for years (This old post of mine has very quickly become hilariously out dated!), but now all the sudden brands seem to be interested in releasing creative takes on the style beyond the typical black knickerbockers, white blouse, and a top hat. In fact, a handful of years ago if you would suggested Boystyle in either a Classic or Sweet option, you'd be met with a lot of skepticism. Nowadays Boystyle is just as diverse as Lolita. I think that 2015 will see a lot more Boystyle, both from brands, and in general at Lolita friendly events.

Overall, I think the theme for 2015's trends will be variety. We'll be seeing a lot of the old classics be reimagined, and the traditional take the back seat for the more avant-garde. I think that a lot of trends we're only just now seeing the beginning of, such as longer more relaxed silhouettes and religious iconography will really begin to take off in the upcoming year in a big way! The last year or so has seen a huge influx of indie brands releasing really creative pieces, as well as a lot more DIY spirit among Lolitas, and I really feel like this new variety in the fashion is really speeding up the evolution of Lolita fashion.

What do you think 2015 will hold for Lolita?

Invent 5 New Lolita Holidays To Celebrate

I haven't had the chance to do a Lolita Blog Carnival post in a while, but this week's was just too fun to pass up! The topic is invent 5 new Lolita holidays to celebrate. Every good Lolita knows that every year comes with, not one, but two International Lolita Days as an excuse to get together and have some meetups, but what about the other 363 days of the year? Now's our chance to fill the calender up with more excuses to wear Lolita!

Maiden's Day
January 26th
January 26th just so happens to be Novala Takemoto's birthday, and what better day to have a Lolita holiday on? Maiden's Day is an excuse to completely indulge in the lifestyle of Lolita. Put on your laciest Old School Lolita dress, sip your most expensive tea, and watch Kamikaze Girls for the millionth time in your life. The best part about Maiden's Day is that you don't necessarily need other Lolitas to celebrate it with, because who needs things like friends?

World Gothic Lolita Day
March 19th
March 19th is already a familiar holiday for a lot of Lolitas, as it's Mana's birthday! What better day to recognize Gothic Lolitas than on his birthday? World Gothic Lolita Day is an excuse for even the sweetest of Sweet Lolitas to goth it up in some black clothes. Take a cue from Mana's Visual Kei roots and put on some Shironuri makeup and go totally OTT with your Gothic coordinates!

International Casual Lolita Day
Second Saturday in August
This comes a couple months after the summer ILD, in what is usually the hottest time of year, a time when people just generally don't wan to wear Lolita. Come August, most Lolitas probably realize that they haven't worn the fashion in a while! Let's change that with International Casual Lolita Day! Everyone shows up with their favorite Otome-inspired blouseless JSK, big straw hat to block the sun, ruffly ankle socks, and meetups are chosen based on places have the best air conditioning.

Over the Top Day
October 13th
Wearing Lolita in October is sometimes more annoying than it should be because it's so close to Halloween that people tend to assume there's some sort of Halloween party going on that they weren't invited to. OTT Day is a chance to go all out with your Lolita, regardless of your style, and do it in a big meetup group. So now when people ask if there's a Halloween party going on, you can tell them "No, as a matter of fact, it's Over-The-Top Day, just wait till you see our Halloween costumes!"

Ruffle-Butt Christmas
December 28th
Who doesn't love Christmas parties? But the real shame is that once Christmas is over, you have to wait almost a whole week before New Years Eve parties! With Lolita Christmas, the holiday doesn't have to be over so soon. In that awkward week of resting between Christmas with the family and spending all New Years Eve partying we can easily fit in a special holiday just as an excuse to bust out the green and red velvet Lolita dresses you never have a good reason to wear the rest of the year! Ruffle-Butt Christmas is, basically, exactly like regular Christmas, only it's just for Lolitas. You get all your Lolita friends together for one last Christmas party of the year and exchange presents of brand novelties, bake up some cute pastel sweets, and finally get to incorporate tinsel into your coordinates!

Lolita Blog Carnival: A Book Inspired Coordinate

This week's Lolita Blog Carnival topic is a cute one! We were asked to make a book inspired coordinate. For my coordinate I chose the classic Children's story Madeline. I never had a ton of Madeline books growing up, or even really seen any of the various movies and shows they made about it, but she's always had a special place in my heart.

http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=103981643

When I was putting this coordinate together, brainstorming what sort of pieces to use in it, I knew that I would find the dress I needed with Innocent World! Their dresses have that cute retro charm that I've come to associate with Madeline over the years, and they often favor more unique jewel tones, rather than pastels, so I knew if I looked hard enough they would have the perfect blue dress. And of course they did! I quickly stumbled across their Clara OP, which I thought was absolutely perfect for a Lolita version of Madeline, especially if you swap out the black ribbon around the collar with a cute red one. I had to make some compromises with this outfit and instead of a bright yellow hat went with a more toned down straw one, but it still has a great big black bow on it with extra long trailing ribbons, it's like this Baby hat was made just for Madeline!

My Perfect Lolita Themed Halloween Party

I'm finally getting around to participating in a Lolita Blog Carnival again! This week's theme is just too perfect not to: My Perfect Lolita Themed Halloween Party. You heard that right, not just any Halloween party, but a Lolita one!
Some classic Halloween costume themes with a Lolita masquerade take.

I think that my ideal Lolita themed Halloween party would be a masquerade, for starters. I love the idea of a Halloween party where everyone goes all out with their outfits and wears fancy masks! Honestly, I think the idea of elaborate masks is more appealing to me than dressing up in an actual costume. I can imagine getting all decked out in an over the top themed outfit with a mask to match! I find that option much more decadent than costumes alone, which is totally befitting of a Lolita themed Halloween party.

Visit my Etsy treasury of masks here!

Etsy has tons of shops selling a variety of different types of masks! From shaped leather, to lace, to metal, to more traditional masks. If you're even a little bit crafty, mask making isn't terribly hard to do yourself, especially if you're just picking up a blank mask at a craft store and decorating it yourself.

As for decorations, personally, I like my Halloweens to be very traditional: spooky decorations, black and purple and orange, cobwebs, tattered table clothes, dim lights, and dry ice. That sort of thing. Whenever I see these super posh black and white Halloween parties that, besides the liberal use of black, the only thing Halloween about them is a centerpiece of chalkboard painted pumpkins with the word "Boo" expertly written on them nestled amongst some gold twigs I can't help but feel a bit sad. Halloween is too great of a holiday to try to "posh it up", and the trend of posh Halloween parties always feels a bit sterile and bland to me. Halloween is an excuse to go all out and pretend to be a Gothic heroine trapped in a spooky castle and be a little bit nostalgic and kitch in the process, we can save our chalkboard paint and pennant garlands for any other day of the year.
Some of my favorite inspirational Halloween party pictures! I keep a whole Pinterst album of them.
1 Love Manor. 2 Martha Stewart. 3 Small Words. 4 Lil Luna. 5 Creative Outlet. 6 Martha Stewart. 7 House of Dewberry. 8 Celebrating Style. 9 Family Chic.

So what sort of traditional Halloween party decorations would I include in my perfect Lolita themed Halloween party? I would definitely aim for something very Victorian inspired and elegant, since this is just a dream we're having here, I would do up the space like a Gothic Victorian parlor, as if a group of vampires got together sometime in the 1880's and had a party that never stopped, and no one had the time to update the decor or dust the cobwebs out of the corners. Think the Addams Family house, but with touches of deep blood red velvet and brocade. Food wise, there would be lots of sweets, from the traditional caramel apples, to an array of spookily designed cakes and finger food.

I love the idea of traditional Halloween games, but let's face it, no one in fancy dress and a mask is going to want to bob for apples, so to harken to a lot of these old games, many of which involve fortune telling or lucky/unlucky aspects, I would have a fortune teller at the party. Just a gloomy little candle lit corner where guests could have their palms or cards read.

To further this fortune-telling theme, I would love to have the event of the evening be an old fashioned Victorian seance, complete with an ectoplasm spewing medium, a spirit cabinet, and a levitating table. Very theatrical, and very spooky (for those who aren't aware of just how the parlor tricks that made seances so popular work!). Something like this would be like a much more exciting, and thematically appropriate, version of a haunted house. Plus wandering around in the dark in a fancy dress and mask isn't any fun, it's much better to be scared while perched on an elegant chair.

Lolita Blog Carnival: Tips for Surviving the Summer in Lolita

I'm finally participating in another Lolita Blog Carnival! This week is all about summer, with the topic "Tips for surviving the summer in Lolita". I decided to write less of a tips post, and more of a summer Lolita essentials list. Over on Tumblr, this image of the "Goth Summer Survival Guide" has been circling around and I absolutely love the idea of a cute little graphic of summer essentials, so I did something of my own version for Lolita.

My last post about summer wardrobes was more of a trend prediction and some wistful summer window shopping, this post is all about the basics that can be translated into pretty much any Lolita style!

  • Parasol- A parasol is a pretty good addition to any summer Lolita wardrobe because it's like a portable patch of shade! Consider a UV blocking parasol, or at least an opaque one and avoid lace parasols, as they are more pretty decoration that useful at blocking the sun.
  • Cutsews- Cutsews are perfect for summer wear! They're usually much less stuffy than blouses and the jersey knit is better at keeping you cool.
  • Cute hair ties- For those that don't want to suffer through the summer in a wig! Plan on wearing your hair simply and naturally and spice it up a little with a few cute hair ties. Personally, I think pig tails or braids are the perfect lazy-day summer hair style!
  • Summer themed accessories- Whatever theme you feel is the most summer, add a little bit of it to your wardrobe with some themed accessories! Whether summer reminds you of sun-ripened strawberries, roses in bloom, or something more nautical themed.
  • Hats- A hat with a brim is going to further help keep the sun off your face!
  • Short socks- As a Lolita who's been around for a while, I've sort of been waiting years for short socks to be popular in Lolita again, because a summer spent in long socks and tights is a summer spent hot and sweaty.
  • Secret shorts- Skip the bloomers! No one will know if you're wearing a casual pair of lounge shorts under your dress! It's always tempting just to nix the bloomers completely in the summer, because they're just so awful in hot weather, even the shortest pair (It's the elastic, I swear! There's nothing I want less in hot weather than wearing elasticized clothes), but to keep it modest, switch to shorts instead.

What sort of changes do you make in your wardrobe during the summer? Are you one of those Lolitas who is content to melt away in full, and fabulous, Lolita? Or do you have to make changes to how you wear Lolita in the hottest months?

Lolita Blog Carnival: If I Had A Lolita Themed Cafe...

This week's Lolita Blog Carnival was one I was really looking forwards to! This week's topic is...
If I had my own Lolita cafe...

Ok, so my graphic is worded a little bit differently than the actual topic because I managed to completely forget the name of this week's theme as soon as I opened up Photoshop, but they say about the same thing!

If I had my own Lolita themed cafe, the theme would be a bit of a mix between Classic and Gothic. Think the deep jewel tones with some hints of dusty pastels and lots of antiqued gilt of Classic, but with some of the more morbid motifs of Gothic. The cafe itself would have a couple separate areas to it, but would generally be small and cozy, but with enough room to get around in petticoats!

The main area would be the actual cafe. It would contain about half a dozen round bistro tables with fancy cast iron legs and a dark wood table top and similarly designed chairs. There would be a small Victorian styled sofa or love seat off to one wall, upholstered in a jewel toned velvet or brocade and would be decorated in a way that practically screamed "This is the perfect place to take our outfit shots!". It would be, of course, a very well lit sofa. The walls would be papered in dark Victorian styled wallpaper and sprinkled heavily with art and prints from girly pop surreal artists and a few antique photos and prints thrown in for good measure.
There would be a small boutique area as well! It would mostly stock indie brand pieces, ranging from unique jewelry to accessories to even dresses and skirts. The smaller pieces would be mostly under a glass display case, or arranged artfully on the counter, while the clothing items would be hung up on a round clothes rack with a half-dress makers dummy decked out in on top of it.

The menu would feature gourmet teas and coffee and would include some thematically appropriate blends, like the kind of teas offered by Grey Brews. Besides tea and coffee the cafe would offer a rotating menu of small pastries and other treats that go well with tea and coffee. To take a cue from the EGL Comm's blog about this topic, food and drinks would be served in dainty, but miss-matched, tea cups and saucers.

The waitresses outfits in the Lolita Cafe
The staff would, of course, wear matching uniforms! I've always loved the button-on aprons and this particular Maxicimam set is perfect! The black bows on the front and extra details and buttons on the apron of it make it a little less pure Sweet Lolita than Angelic Pretty's more popular version of this type of dress and apron. To Gothic it up a little more, it would be paired with black shoes, these particular harlequin socks, and Antique Beasts famous bat/cat maid headdress. The outfit would be further sprinkled through with red accessories, each waitress adding her own personal touch in this way. Bloomers are an absolute must in this case!

Lolita Blog Carnival: 1 Piece, 4 Seasons

This week's Lolita Blog Carnival is themed 1 piece, 4 seasons and the challenge is to take one dress and make 4 different coordinates for the 4 seasons with it!

For the challenge I chose Baby's Marie Antoinette dress in blue. I chose it because it's one of my favorite Baby dresses and a version of it was recently re-released in Baby's Memorial series!

Winter Princess

Most winter coordinates are, honestly, going to be hidden under a coat, so I tried to make this one look wintery even without  coat. I think the best way to do that is with copious amounts of faux fur! The bonnet with a rose or two to match the dress adds an extra element of opulence. Thick textured tights, Lolita boots, and a few pieces of icy blue jewelry finish off this elegantly inspired coordinate.

 Spring Cutie

I  tried to add some more cute elements for spring for this dress. Despite the elegance this dress exudes (or at least, that's how I feel about it!) I think the cut is so classically Lolita that it can be accessorized to match just about any sub-style. So an overall theme of bows, a cute heart purse, OTKs and dainty gloves push this into the realms of kawaiii. The lacy shawl brings a little bit of elegance back, and is a cute addition in the Spring time, when the sun is warm but sometimes the winds get a little chilly.

Royal Summer

The best part of a dress like this is the sleeves are very versatile, as they are of an in-between JSK and OP length and are intended to look just as nice without a blouse under it as with one. This coordinate is a little bit on the Hime side, which is something a dress like this can lend itself well too. Go  sockless and open-toed in the warm weather and accessorize with some complimenting jewelry and matching nail polish. A few slightly more envelope pushing Hime elements are the bloomers with the bow garters and the Angelic Pretty lacy arm warmers. Chokers can nicely complement dresses with the crisscrossing ribbons on chest, and this white Moi Meme Moitie choker looks like it would make a cute addition the the coordinate.

Autumn Dolly

This coordinate was a little bit difficult to do because I wanted something slightly warmer looking for Autumn, but a blue and white dress is going to inevitably look very cool. I warmed it up with some cream colors and more Dolly Kei inspired touches, such as a longer lace skirt worn under it (this is something I do with my wardrobe but doesn't exactly work so well with Polyvore! I have a pretty nice lace skirt that's about 3-4 inches longer than my Lolita skirts that I wear under them. It looks completely silly with a petticoat under it by itself, but it adds a nice length to skirts it's worn under.) and an interesting collection of jewelry. Lace tights and a wicker purse add some more texture to this outfit, as well as an antique touch.

Lolita Blog Carnival: Underrated Colors

Even though I've been working with it on Facebook, I've actually taken quite a break from doing any posts from the Lolita Blog Carnival myself lately! But I put my butt in gear to get this week's done, because it looked like a fun topic, this week is all about unusual colors within Lolita!

First I want to start with just a little bit of musing about why certain colors are considered "unusual" in Lolita. Generally, Lolita tends to be a very rule oriented fashion, and there are colors that are often perceived as being not just "normal" colors for Lolita, but sometimes they're considered the only acceptable colors, although, this has lightened up a bit in recent years. "Proper colors" seem to be largely decided by what sort of things brands are releasing, and as silly as it sounds, it's usually for an understandable reason. As I'm sure you all know, a head-to-toe matching outfit and even wardrobes is not uncommon at all in Lolita, and is even something that most Lolitas prefer, so it's generally just considered easier for Lolitas to pick one of the common colors and stick with it. It's easier to match that way if all of your clothes just so happen to be pink, sax blue, lavender, red, or black! It becomes a little less easy to find exactly what you're looking for when you throw every other color into the mix! It's a bit unfortunate for those who have very specific color inclinations, but a blessing to those who don't really intend to stray very far from the limited Lolita rainbow.

However, it's true that in recent years more and more colors have mixed themselves into the Lolita norm. I remember about 6 years ago a Lolita friend of mine was in love with the color green and dreamt of one day owning all the non-mint green brand released Lolita dresses. This was a pretty easy feat at the time, theoretically, as there were only about a dozen or so of them that were commonly known (Take a look at this search for "Green" grouped by year on Lolibrary!) . For the next few years brands started releasing more and more uncommon colors, and there was always a little bit of a murmur of commotion every time a brand released something in an odd color. "Did you see that yellow dress?" one Lolita might ask another, "Yes! Did you see that one that had mint and pink on it!?".

Nowadays, there are very few colors that Lolitas would ever be shocked to see, except maybe neon, but there are indeed a few colors that are still very underrepresented and often overlooked within the fashion!

Jewel tones that aren't burgundy or royal blue

I figured I would lump these all into one category, because there are a few of them, from rich purple, to emerald green, to deep amber. The most common jewel tones you'll see within Lolita are red and blue, but some of the other colors will pop up every now and then. I've even written a separate post about the color purple!

Olive Green
Olive green will either come in a light and airy pale olive, or a more traditional olive green. Innocent World probably uses this color the mos, but even they hardly use it at all. For it's desaturated nature, it's almost always seen in dresses that are more inclined towards the Classic Lolita. I consider the paler version of olive as the "pastel" for the Classic Lolita who wants to wear something light colored, but doesn't want to appear childish at all. Something about it makes it feel like a very grown up and no-nonsense color to me.

Grey
Another no-nonsense color would be grey! Also a frequently underused color in Lolita for probably just that reason. Grey is almost always reserved for woolen winter pieces, occasionally in the spring time a paler sort of slate grey might pop up in chiffon, showing grey's less sever side. Personally, I love the versatility of grey, pair it with black for a more Gothic outfit, or white for a more Sweet outfit.

Salmon Pink
This color is pretty similar to the more commonly seen dusty rose, just a few shades darker. While dusty rose isn't an uncommon color in Classic Lolita at all, this peachy salmon pink used to be a much more common color in Sweet Lolita. I think it's an incredibly cute and demure color for Sweet Lolita! If pale olive green is the Classic Lolita's ideal choice for a cute color without looking childish, salmon pink is the Sweet Lolita's ideal choice for a more toned down color without giving up the air of childishness!

"Vivid" Pastels
Can a pastel be vivid? This is another set of colors that I tend to associate with Old School Lolita. In the early 2000's, pastels weren't always as baby-soft as they are now. Pinks were often less baby and more Barbie, and blues weren't so much sax as they were Alice. The color difference is often only a shade or two more vivid, and not an obvious difference, until you try to match it with a newer piece that you thought was the same color! I feel like these colors are saved for the ideal Old School Lolita look. Even if you have to sacrifice the waist ties to have that perfect Old School headdress to match it, because good luck finding a new one that matches it!

If there's one thing you've probably noticed about these unusually colored items, it's that many of them are from brands that are typically considered Classic Lolita brands. In fact, the only items up here that aren't from Classic Lolita brands are the "outdated" colors. For whatever reason, brands that tend to cater towards the Sweet Lolita tend to stick with the usual Lolita colors, but Classic brands are often branching out into more unusual colors. Why? I have no idea. I would speculate that it has to do with Classic Lolita being more influenced by the Victorian era than Sweet Lolita, and there simply being a larger pot of color inspiration to dip from because of that.

As usual with the LBC, I'm not the only one blogging about this topic! Check out all these other blogs that talked a little bit about unusual colors in Lolita!

Lolita Blog Carnival: 3 Prints I Would Like To See

This week's Lolita Blog Carnival question is actually quite similar to an older post I did back in 2010, 3 Prints I would Like To See. Considering it's been quite some time since that other post, and some of the things I talked about hoping brands would one day release, actually have been released! Tarot cards, stained glass, and books are all print themes that brands have since released, so let's revist the topic a little bit with 3 more prints I would love to see.

Gothic Architecture
This is something that Moitie has done a few times but I would love to see some more brands release more dresses with Gothic architecture inspired prints! Anything from more church windows to more border prints that feature Gothic castles along the bottom.

More of this, please!
While it's nice that Moitie has been doing this for a while, I would love some more variety in this theme that would come from other brands picking up this trend. I can imagine pen sketch styled illustrations of flying buttresses from Innocent World, painting styled prints of stained glass window details from Juliette et Justine, and sombre colors and rose vine covered Gothic churches from Alice & the Pirates!

The Wizard of Oz
I believe this has really only been done once from brands, and that's by Baby the Stars Shine Bright, but I would definitely love to see more Wizard of Oz themed dresses! There are so many amazing scenes and characters from the books that would be perfect for a Lolita print. One of my favorite characters in the series is Princess Langwidere, who is a vain little princess who has a boudoir full of different heads that she replaces her own with. I think Alice & the Pirates  could do an amazing print featuring a gallery of cute severed heads and a haughty princess admiring them.

  Grave Stones
While this is another print that Moitie has done before, I ended up feeling it was sort of lackluster and didn't really live up to what a grave stone print could be. There are so many great ways to do grave stone prints, I think! From just a row of amazing looking gravestones along the hem of a skirt, to a more scenic look complete with mausoleums and mourners, to an all-over print featuring classical tombstone symbols!

I'm not the only blog talking about this topic! If you want to see what prints other Lolibloggers would love to see, just check out the other blogs that are participating in the LBC this week! If you're interested in joining our growing blogging circle, check out the Facebook group!

I can't believe how much the Carnival has grown in just three weeks! I am so excited to see so many great bloggers, all with distinctly different tastes and types of Lolita, chime in with their opinion on each weekly topic!
